  • The College Art Portfolio Preparatory Course is an immersive, multi-day-per-week studio program for high school juniors and seniors applying to art schools, competitive colleges, and professional opportunities where a portfolio strengthens admission.

This is not a general art class. It is a structured, strategic pathway designed around application deadlines and portfolio expectations.

Students receive individualized instruction tailored to their strengths, interests, and target schools. Monthly one-on-one meetings assess progress, refine college lists, and establish clear benchmarks aligned with submission timelines.

Junior year focuses on growth, direction, and artistic identity.
Senior year focuses on execution, refinement, and application success.

From first concept to final upload, we guide every step.

  • Students work in a serious, focused studio environment alongside other committed artists. Instruction is highly personalized, with ongoing critique, revision cycles, and direct faculty mentorship.

    The program includes:

    • Portfolio-directed project development

    • Group critiques and structured feedback

    • Scheduled figure-drawing sessions

    • Individual strategy meetings

    • Deadline management and accountability

Our faculty provide both creative and strategic guidance — helping students refine not only their technical skill, but also their artistic voice and presentation.

Beyond studio work, we support the full application process:

    • Portfolio selection and sequencing guidance

    • Letters of recommendation upon request

    • Essay and written statement refinement (available hourly)

    • Professional photography and image editing (available per image)

Families are supported from start to finish, reducing uncertainty while ensuring that students remain on track.

  • For art schools — and increasingly for competitive colleges — the portfolio is often the single most important component of an application.

Grades and test scores show academic ability.
A portfolio shows originality, discipline, and creative intelligence.

    A strong portfolio demonstrates readiness.
    A brilliant portfolio proves potential.

This program exists to remove guesswork. We provide structure, strategy, and accountability so students submit work that represents their highest level of ability.

Families gain clarity. Students gain direction. Deadlines are managed. Work is refined.

While tuition represents a significant investment, many of our students receive substantial scholarship offers — often totaling $100,000 or more over four years. In many cases, the program pays for itself through improved admission outcomes and financial awards.

When you look at acceptance rates, scholarship results, and the confidence students gain throughout the process, the value becomes clear.

The right preparation does more than complete an application.
    It opens doors.
